Cobalt on sisal shouldn't work as well as it does. One is the color of highland earth, the other is the color of deep water and open sky — and yet when the dye soaks into the natural fiber and dries in the Machakos sun, it becomes something that looks like it was always meant to be this way.

This is the basket that stops people in a room. Not loudly. Just definitively.

Comes with a plastic liner to protect the weave from moisture. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and keep from prolonged water exposure. Each basket is unique — cobalt absorbs differently into every fiber, so the depth and variation of the blue will shift slightly from basket to basket.
