The Basuba

Basuba. Three colors, three equal thirds, stacked with the kind of intentionality that only makes sense when you understand that every color transition in a woven bag is a decision made at the fiber level — not painted on, not printed, but built into the structure from the inside out.

Grey at the top. Blue through the middle. Black at the base. Each section holding its own weight, each one dyed separately before the weaving begins, so the boundaries between them are clean but never mechanical. A gradient that was made by hand, not algorithm.

Bucket silhouette. Open top. 9" x 11" — generous enough for a full day out, structured enough to keep its shape while carrying it. Sisal holds a form the way few natural fibers can.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Keep from prolonged moisture exposure, store somewhere dry. Each bag is unique — the proportions of grey, blue and black will shift slightly between pieces, because the hands that made them are not a machine and the dye absorbs differently into every fiber.
