The Rustic
This is sisal closest to what it actually is. No dye, no appliqué, no pattern imposed on top of the fiber — just the weave itself, in the color the plant was before anyone decided to change it.
Rustic is the wrong word for it really. Rustic implies unfinished. This is deliberate. The artisan made a choice to let the material speak without interruption, which takes more confidence than adding decoration.
What you get is a basket that looks like it came from the earth your plant is trying to grow toward.
Comes with a plastic liner to protect the weave from moisture. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and keep from prolonged water exposure. Each basket is unique — natural sisal varies in tone and texture from harvest to harvest, so no two will be identical in quite the same way as any other basket in the range.
