The Sand and Rust floor basket's twin — same scale, same weight, same hands that made it, same floor it's built to live on. The difference is in the color and the handles, and the difference is enough.

Where that basket is warm sand with orange handles, this one runs deeper. The body is rust — burnt, concentrated, the color of Machakos earth at its most intense. And the handles are monochrome, black and white wound together, the same cool graphic logic that appears on the Sand and Monochrome Countertop basket. Warm body, cool handles. The contrast is quieter than the orange but more considered.

12" x 12". Holds blankets, firewood, the things a room needs within reach. Sisal at this scale carries weight without complaint.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Keep from prolonged moisture. Each basket is unique — at this scale the natural variation in the sisal and the weave is more visible than in smaller pieces. The slight irregularities in the surface are the record of how it was made, and at floor basket scale they give the object a presence that a perfect surface never could.
