Livu Copper-Trim Tote
Details & artisan story
The Livu
Near-white at the top. A copper trim drawn across the middle like a line of light. Dark grey below that. Black at the base. Four distinct decisions, each one made at the fiber level before the bag exists, assembled in sequence by hands that know exactly what they are building toward.
The copper is the moment this bag has that the others don't. Not a hardware detail, not a buckle or a clasp — a woven trim, the color of old coin and late afternoon sun, sitting between the pale top and the deepening grey below it. It shouldn't work as well as it does. It does.
Nubuck leather straps. Wide enough to carry on a shoulder without cutting in. The bag is 10" x 12" — serious enough for a full day, a laptop, a market run, whatever the day actually requires.
Livu. The name carries something — say it and it sounds like it means ease, like it means arriving somewhere without hurry.
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Keep from prolonged moisture, store somewhere dry. Each bag is unique — the copper trim in particular will vary slightly in intensity and width between pieces, because it is woven by hand into a living fiber that absorbs color on its own terms.
10" x 12" — Sisal and Nubuck leather — Handmade in Machakos, Kenya.
