The Duara

Duara means circle in Swahili. The name was chosen deliberately — sisal pulled from the Machakos earth, worked through hands that learned from hands that learned from hands, and returned to the world as something new. The tradition completes itself in every bag.

White on top, black below. Two dyed halves, each one deliberate — getting sisal to hold a clean white is as much work as getting it to hold a deep black. The contrast didn't happen by default. Someone decided exactly where one ends and the other begins, and then wove that decision into the structure. Nubuck leather straps finish it — supple enough to wear in, structured enough to hold.

Compact crossbody sizing. Fits your phone, your wallet, your keys, and not much more — which is the point. Some bags try to carry everything. The Duara carries what matters.

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Keep from prolonged moisture exposure. Each bag is unique, the boundary where white meets black will shift slightly in every piece, because that line is drawn by hand.
